Girl Scout Program

Attention all Troop Leaders!

Looking for a place for your girls to earn the Horse Fan/ Horse Rider badge?  Down on the Farm offers a unique opportunity for your girls to earn their badge through our comprehensive program that is designed just for the Girl Scouts.  

The program includes hands on experience from leading, to brushing and grooming, saddling, bridling, feeding, and most importantly safety.

The girls will leave with a new knowledge and appreciation for owning and caring for a horse. 

The girls will be broken into groups and assigned their own horse/ pony to care for during the instruction.
.After we cover all the topics required the girls are allowed to ride and demonstrate what they have learned.

Please note that all helmets will be provided, and that we are fully insured. 
Please come dressed for the weather and do plan on getting dirty!!

Each girl scout will take home a packet of information, worksheets and certificate designed just for the Horse Fan badge.

The program lasts for Approximately 2 hours, The cost is $20.00 per scout.
